Sell A Book

Terms and Conditions 

  1. Please make sure that you have graded your books correctly:
    • Books that have been in correctly graded will be graded correctly upon arrival at our store & the correct price will be applied.
    • If you are unhappy with the correct price, you can request for us to post it back to you at your own cost.
  2. Make sure that you have used the correct ISBN when getting a quote. Pimp My Book will not pay for incorrect books.
  3. For those posting books to us, Pimp My Book will not take responsibility for books that have been lost or damaged in transit. This condition does not apply to sellers using our free collection service.
  4. This quote is only valid for 7 working days. Therefore books must arrive at our stores within 7 days.
  5. The offer made on your book and the amount quoted is only valid for 5 working days. Make sure that we receive the book within 5 working days.
  6. Pimp My Book will not be held responsible for books that are posted to the incorrect address. Please make sure that you post them to the correct address.
  7. Payments will be made cash on deliver or via electronic funds transfer (eft).
  8. EFT payments will be made within 7 working days of us receiving the book. If the book has been received by us but payment is not made within 7 working days customer can cancel the deal and request the book back. Books will then be sent back at cost to Pimp My Book.
  9. Make sure you have supplied us the correct bank details – Pimp My Book will not be held liable for any erroneous payments made as a result of incorrect bank details that being supplied to us.

Collection:

  1. Collections are free from all main centers & universities through out South Africa.
  2. Please ensure that there is someone who can hand over the book at the collection address during working hours or use your working hours address.
  3. Pimp My Book will only make one collection trip. Our agents will keep in touch with you regarding collection.
  4. If you ail to hand over the book as agreed – PMB will withhold the collection service from you in the future.
  5. Collections will happen within 48 hours during working hours.

Buy A Book

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Please check that you are buying the correct book – check tittle, author and editions.
  2. Incorrect books can be returned back within 3 working days – They will be returned at your own cost and we must get it back in our warehouse within 7 days. Pimp My Book will not take responsibility for delays, damages or thefts of the book in transit.
  3. There will be no CASH refund – the book can be replaced with the correct book or any other book.

Delivery:

  1. Please make sure you have the correct address
  2. PMB will not be held responsible for books delivered to wrong addresses that were supplied by you.
  3. Books take a maximum of 1 -2 days to get to you and will be delivered at your given address.
  4. Prices – R50 to all areas.
  5. Delivery is free for purchases above R500.
